The Workplace & the “I Care” Parent Engagement Curriculum Model
As young people enter the workforce, they encounter a variety of ethical problems that require tough decisions. However, according to representatives from business and industry, most people entering the workforce lack the strength of character that is necessary to make ethical decisions. As workplace ethics are an extension of the personal standards, or lack of them, inherent in the people who make up the workplace, there has been a massive effort to improve individual decision making through training, as well as incentives and award programs. By partnering with “I Care,” business and industry have an opportunity to enhance these efforts.
